<text>This collection regroups a small selection of five photographs taken by Danish photographer Gunvör Betting and her team (her brother Erik Betting and friend Jørgen Fastholm). Together, they traveled through Europe, the Middle East and down the Nile Valley during the years 1961-1963, and stayed three months with the SJE expedition team at Debeira. They chronicled the daily life of the team, in the field and in their headquarters at Debeira, as well as documented special events: the visit of H.M. the Queen of Denmark - then Princess Margrethe - in Nubia or the arrival of a film crew from Norsk TV.</text>
